How to Add Money to PayPal
You have a PayPal account, and that’s great! You’re on the first step to using a digital banking system that protects you when ordering things online. But wait…how do you get money into your PayPal in order to use it? There are a couple different ways that this is possible.
- You can request money from someone else on account – if a friend or family member. You can use PayPal to request money from them, or you can ask them outside of the application/wesbite to give money to your PayPal account. This money will be subject to fees, so just watch out for that!
- Doing things that pay you through PayPal – there are tons of apps for iOS and Andriod phones that you can download that give you money for using their app in some way. Payouts from these apps are usually made through gift cards. Download some of these apps, earn some money, and send it to your account. Alternatively, any work you do that is not a formal job can be paid for by having someone send money to your PayPal. You can even create an invoice for them for your records.
- Last but not least, if you attach your bank account or debit card to your PayPal, you can transfer money from your bank account to your PayPal for no charge! It can take a few days, though. Simply follow the prompts for money transfer on the app or website, and you should see the money you transferred to your account in about two days. If you want the transfer to be automatic, there will be a fee associated with it.
Now that you know about the many ways you can put money in your account, it’s time to start building it up and spending!
