How to Set Up a PayPal Account
There are many new ways to use and store money online safely, thanks to advancements in technology. But for some, it’s hard to get started using these new methods. Because of their complicated jargon or just because it’s hard to stray from what you know. Therefore, I’m here to help you set up your very own personal PayPal account. It is like a bank account that is entirely online – there’s even an app for it that you can put on your phone to access your account on the go!
The first thing to do, before you even begin setting up your PayPal account, is to make sure that you have an email that you can attach it to. This is one of the first things that PayPal will ask for as you sign up for your account. It’s better to have that beforehand than to have to make or remember an email in the middle of signing up. Another thing to have on hand is your bank account information. You can attach your bank account to your PayPal account for money transfers or to verify your identity. Just make sure your PayPal account and your bank account (and preferably your email, too) use the same legal name.
Now that you have the necessary extras, it’s time to actually make the account. Similar to other account creation, you simply need your email address, a bit of information such as your legal name and address, and to create a unique password to protect your account. From there, PayPal will take you through a tour that will show you all of the features you can now enjoy and what next steps you can take to make PayPal an enjoyable application for you!
